Phone conversation; EZL music; 1051 usual "Radio Sakha" ID; recently noticed they no longer run a series of commercial announcements after the ID as they did in the past; best reception in LSB to get away from moderate QRM from 7300. Several times stronger than // 7345, which was much weaker than usual; 1100 IS (Jew's harp - khomus) and 4+1 time pips. At *1101, CRI (7345) signed on and blocked the weak R.Sakha reception; certainly after 1101, no question that 7295 is the best frequency for me to hear them on. I last heard them here on Feb 26, so very nice to again hear this former frequency active again! (Ron Howard, listening in San Francisco, at Ocean Beach, California, USA) Republic of Tatarstan. Kazan ------------------------------------------ Radio Iskatel (Radio"Seeker") found a place in the Kazan radio Since the beginning of this week on wave 93.1 FM listeners of Kazan listen to a new radio station where you can hear time-tested music hits, as well as popular science and historical programs. In the capital of Tatarstan, a radio station of a new format was launched - "Radio Iskatel". This is the first Russian radio station, addressed to those for whom the spirit of adventure and discovery is the driving force of life, who are attracted to unconquered peaks and new horizons. The slogan of the radio station is the famous phrase from the novel "Two Captains": "Fight and seek, find and do not give up!". A third of the radio station's broadcast is filled with entertaining-cognitive programs about people, travel, fascinating facts, the history of our country and the planet. "Iskatel" is a radio that already covers 11 Russian cities: Angarsk, Barnaul, Gorno-Altaisk, Irkutsk, Kursk, Seversk, Surgut, Togliatti, Tomsk and now Kazan. Soon this list will replenish the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Also in plans to start broadcasting in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The highlight of the Seeker is cognitive programs about science, travel, history. Here you can hear the voices of famous leaders such as Mikhail Kozhukhov and Pavel Kartaev. Despite all the variety of thematic radio stations in Kazan, "Iskatel" even for the local sophisticated listener is a curiosity. After all, there was nothing like this in our city. In the wake of 93.1, FM will want to remain the one who yearns for songs and performers who are dear to the heart, which now can not be heard on a regular radio station: Deep Purple, Aquarium, Okudzhava, The Rolling Stones, Vysotsky, Zemfira, Spleen, Nirvana, Mumiy Troll. "To this music, the hand itself reaches out to the receiver to make it louder," says Kazan radio director Venus Bagovieva, "but the Seeker is not just drive and rock and roll! This is also exciting stories about people, travel, victories, discoveries and inventions. "Iskatel", of course, is a radio with a character. The spirit of travel, adventure, romance and excitement is felt from the first notes and from the first words. This wave will be to the taste of the modern resident of a major city, who aspires to self-development and new personal achievements, appreciates his time and knows the good of good music. Why the Seeker? Because life is a constant search. We are looking for ourselves, our place in this world, looking for each other ... ". Summary of the dissertation (in English, pdf): Https://epublications.vu.lt/object/elaba:8281184/ The analysis of US radio broadcasts to the Soviet Lithuania reveal the type of policy that the United States implemented during the Cold War in terms of its relations with Lithuania by means of public diplomacy rather than traditional diplomacy. Studies of Western radio broadcasts are important not only in analysing the policy implemented with regard to Lithuania but also in revealing fundamental processes of the society.s development, differences of ideological indoctrination from those of other Soviet societies, the changing relationship of their members with the Soviet system, and also the position of the regime itself with regard to various threats. The analysis of the processes taking place in the Soviet Lithuanian society reveals that Western radio broadcasts produced for each state of the Baltic Bloc in their native languages motivated citizens. passive resistance, distrust in the Soviet regime as well as led to questioning its legitimacy and achievements. The view that during the Cold War the USA sought to affect the inner development of the Soviet Lithuania.s society by means of radio broadcasts provides an opportunity to assess the policy of the non-recognition of the annexation of the Baltic States. territory in a different light and to analyse political and socio-cultural processes in the Soviet Lithuania.s society from a new perspective. Digital radio in Russia - How quickly to convey information and make the press more modern? How to quickly deliver information to the consumer, to make the press more modern? These and other questions were discussed by the leaders of the Kursk mass media with Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of Russia Alexei Volin. - Quote: But there will not be a digital radio in Russia. Alexei Volin: "This is due to the fact that the transition of the radio to" digital "allows 3-4 times to increase the number of operating radio stations. In conditions when the advertising market radio advertising is barely enough to feed existing radio stations, to switch the radio to "number" and multiply the number of radio stations means to kill radio as an industry." And yet, there will be changes in broadcasting. In the air, according to experts, there will be more live communication and useful information. Yandex - a search engine in Russia - the actual censorship for the DX websites Hello from Saratov, Russia! My name Dmitry. This is my first post. Sorry for my English. It is possible that it will interest radio fans who have the websites and blogs on our hobby. Large search engines (Google, Yandex, the Mail, ??) have sections for webmasters - owners of the websites or blogs. https://webmaster.yandex.ru You register and you add the website to a toolbar. It allows to see detailed statistics and to correct problems in retrieval outputs of the website or the blog. Recently Yandex updated the https://webmaster.yandex.ru interface. I saw a problem with my website freerutube.info. Violations and security risks on the website freerutube.info The low-useful content, spam, excess of advertizing Website line items in search results are reduced The website does not correspond to the basic principles on which our algorithms estimate its quality: contains useless content, the excessive number of advertizing, a retrieval spam, etc. Usually limits are lifted within a month after violation elimination. Several times I tried to achieve the response in what specifically a problem. I asked and asked again: The website is devoted to a hobby - distant reception of broadcasting radio stations - DXing. On the website content, unique and interesting to radio fans. Apropos - existence of lists of search queries, use of SEO links - I do not understand about what you. Number of advertizing moderate. I ask to revise your decision and to remove filters. But everything that managed to achieve, does not explain in any way what needs to be corrected and as: After the analysis of your website we came to a conclusion that it does not correspond to our idea of the qualitative websites reflected in our recommendations of https://yandex.ru/support/webmaster/yandex-indexing/webmaster-advice.xml The set of factors, such as absence of original and interesting content, existence of lists of search queries, use of SEO links, overutilization of advertizing and others could influence the solution of an algorithm. We cannot specify more specific reasons. We try to set up and improve search algorithms so that the websites corresponding to these recommendations quickly and fully were indexed and were on high line items on relevant requests. If you develop the website for users, to place unique and useful information and to follow our recommendations, then over time its line items in search results will be able to improve. Yandex.Search support Hello, Dmitry! After repeated check of your website its mismatch to the principles described in the document https://yandex.ru/support/webmaster/yandex-indexing/webmaster-advice.xml was confirmed. As the website is evaluated in a complex, on set we cannot specify the described on the specified link of factors, specific reasons. For improving of line items in search results we can only advise to continue to develop the project, being guided by earlier provided recommendations. Sputnik's D.C. bureau website blithely noted that the station points the way to "a multipolar world that respects every country's national interests, culture, history and traditions." Not quite. Since the Yeltsin period, the Kremlin has advanced the notion of a multipolar world as a direct challenge to the international order led by the United States and Western Europe based on universal principals of democracy, the rule of law and human rights and backed up by our combined economic and military power. The Kremlin views Western democratic values as a direct threat to President Vladimir Putin's authoritarian regime, so these aspirations are countered by the innocuous-sounding concept of a multipolar world. Sputnik 105.5 FM forgets that the strategic essence of multipolarism is an international order based upon spheres of influence and military force. In this world, Russian hegemony over the former Soviet Union, central and southeastern Europe and other areas where Russian interests are in play is unchallengeable. Do not be fooled, Russian multipolarism has nothing in common with the benign internationalism enshrined in the charter of the United Nations. The Russians have a term for the American staffers at Radio Sputnik: "useful fools." Regardless of motivation, each of these folks is contributing in a very small way to Mr. Putin's vision of tomorrow's world order. The CTC channel. WEB: http://ctc.ru/ CTC is a federal television channel founded in December 1996. This is the first network television channel in Russia, the concept of development of which was initially based on the principle of partnership with regional television stations. Now the channel is the property of the largest independent media company "CTC Media", which is a subsidiary of the famous copper of the Holding "Modern Times Group" from Sweden. Today CTC positions its concept as a "classic entertainment channel". CNC is included in the 2nd multiplex of digital Russian television. In his TV program there is a huge number of cartoons, entertainment shows, feature films and television series. As of the end of 2010, the coverage of the Russian audience of the channel was 93.7% (the positive annual dynamics of technical penetration of CNC was 3%). In 2009, the average share of the television nationwide channel audience reached 9%, which allowed to close the four most popular national channels. However, the channel does not intend to stop at what has been achieved. In his plans - to break into the top three. And, apparently, this goal is quite achievable. (Http://www.krutoymedia.ru/news/4558.htm) History of Belgorod radio. ------------------------------------------- Today we recall one remarkable frequency, at which the broadcasting station this year turns 10 years old. From July 5 to December 2001, the test broadcast was 100.9 MHz - the prototype was "Retro Fm" - the radio "Retro" with a big predominance on the air of Soviet music. The motto of the radio station is "Music of the Russian Soul", embodied in the songs of Utesov, Shulzhenko, Ruslanova, Pieha, Okudzhava, Vysotsky, songs of the 60-70-80s, which form the basis of the musical format. After that, the frequency fell silent for 6 years. On April 27, 2005, bypassing 14 competitors, among them were Radio Maximum, Star, Retro FM, as well as several companies from Belgorod and Stary Oskol, the right to work on frequency was won by the Belgorod Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, with the concept of a family radio station. And on August 5, 2007, after 3 months of testing, the last attempt was made to include local broadcast in Belgorod - the full-scale broadcasting of "Radio 31" began. Balancing on the verge between good music and the right to be called "Radio of the World of Belogorie" was not particularly successful and the listeners did not appreciate the attempt to return the "old" Avtoradio, at first the responses to the new radio station were mostly negative. A year later on "Radio 31" there were linear anchors and the program for applications, the morning show and other interactive programs were launched, the music format also changed for the better and the overall feeling from the station became much better. Since the start of 6 years Radio 31 has tried many broadcasting concepts and changing the name on the radio, "World Belogorie" since August 21, 2013 is moving to a new format: fresh news releases every hour, thematic issues of events from the sphere of economy, culture and Sport plus the best music since the 70s to our time. The format is transformed for the better, from the base all "pop music" is removed, Russian-speaking performers are represented by rock music, songs of Belgorod performers appear. Various projects appear on the radio: "There, on vinyl tracks" about the stories of songs, "Racurs" - coverage of cultural events in the Belgorod region, a special project for the 70th anniversary of Victory "Songs of front roads" and much more. On May 9, on the radio "Mira Belogorye" listeners are greeted by the "Marathon of Victory": every hour special news releases, direct inclusions from the "Immortal Regiment" march, meetings with guests in the studio and the fullest information about the festive events. Radio of the World Belogorie is a radio that embodies the principle of "Fresh news, eternal music". And the music here is represented by "golden" hits from the 70s of the 20th century to our days. The basis of the playlist is Gary Moore, Robbie Williams, Kansas, Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Annie Lennox, Status Quo, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Queen, Sting, Roxette, Simon & Garfunkel, Def Leppard and Duran Duran . New music is played by Jam & Spoon, Lighthouse Family, Ten Sharp, U2, Natalie Imbruglia, Lenny Kravitz, Kings Of Leon. Do not forget about Russian musicians, such as Konstantin Nikolsky, Alexander Ivanov, Maxim Leonidov, Alice, Kalinov Bridge, Mill, Cinema, Spleen. There is the Ocean of Elsa. There are also quite new artists: Deja Vu, Sergei Babkin and Mgzavrebi. And of course on the radio of the World of Belogorie you can hear musicians from Belgorod - Derevoband, Gush Katushkin and Maria Tchaikovskaya. To date, the radio "Mir Belogorie" is the only station that broadcasts around the clock in all areas of the region from 17 transmitters, whose network was built for 8 years. You can see the brand here - http://rusdx.blogspot.ru/2017/07/blog-post_16.html - The Riga State Electrotechnical Seal "VEF" (Latvian VEF, Valsts Elektrotehniskā Fabrika) is a manufacturer of electrical and electronic goods in Latvia. Among the DX-sources is the plant of radio equipment. These are tube radios "Latvia M137" and "Mir M152". In the 1960s, the production of transistor receivers began at VEF. The first such radio receiver under the name Spidola, was released by a small series in 1960. Mass production began in 1962, the receiver proved to be very successful and quickly gained popularity in the USSR, despite the relatively high price for that time]. Variants of VEF-Spidola (1962) VEF-Spidola-10 (1963), VEF-Transistor-10 (1965) differed from the first model by external design, the design of the tuning scale and minor changes in the electrical circuit. In addition, the options for the domestic market and for exports differed in range boundaries. The design of Spidoli became the basis for the development of many subsequent models (VEF-12, VEF-201, VEF-202, Spidola-207, etc.), featuring numerous improvements, including the addition of a tone control, VHF range, more modern Element base, improved electro- acoustic parameters, etc. One of the developments from this series was transferred in 1968 to the Minsk Radio Plant (now JSC Horizont), and gave birth to the family of receivers "Ocean". A characteristic design feature of the "Spidoli" and its modifications - the range switch is made in the form of a drum on which the input and heterodyne circuits are fixed. [Https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VEF_ (factory)] - I still have the "VEF-206" receiver in working order. A beautiful model of the time. The model has short-wave subbands from 13 to 187.5 meters + DV / SV. This is an export option. In the 1970s, receivers from the 25-meter range were on sale in the USSR. It was a birthday present, which was brought from Hungary, since in Moscow at that time there was a model "VEF-201" that started from the range of 25 meters .. (Part 2) 2003 year. On February 15, the "open_dx" group was created. The conference is equally open for both experienced DX-sources, and for those who only recently became interested in long-distance radio reception. Open_dx is a thematic conference. This means that any issues related to the remote reception of radio and television are discussed here - air catches, changes in schedules, techniques, obtaining QSL-confirmations ... But on topics that are not related to DX-ing, we do not talk; For this there are many other conferences. Technically, the conference is organized very simply. You send a message with your news or questions to open_dx@yahoogroups.com, and it automatically disperse to the mailboxes of all other participants. If someone wishes to respond to you or give a comment, he simply presses the "Reply" button in his mail program, and his answer also circulates among the participants. This is how everyone communicates with everyone. If you still doubt, look at the page with the conference materials and read the archive of messages. No registration is needed for this: the archive is open to all. Note that most of the messages in the archive are written in the KOI-8P encoding; It is chosen as our preferred one. Therefore, if suddenly on the screen in the browser you see an indigestible set of letters, switch the encoding! Do you agree with the rules and want to become a member of open_dx? Then enter your address in the field at the end of the page and click the crimson button next to it (or send an empty letter to open_dx- subscribe@yahoogroups.com, leaving the Subject field also blank). After a while, you will receive a response from the moderator with a proposal to introduce yourself and tell you what city you are from.
