Initially in presumed Yakut. A very unusual indigenous language. Presumed them, and // to 7295 kHz (250 kW listed), which was much weaker. Still some time before LSS. After a few minutes of Russian commercials with several mentions of 'Respublika Sakha', etc, back into Yakutian. A nice local vocal at 23:55 UT. Rechecked at 01:14 UT, and going strong with very good reception with local Yakutian music. Back again at 04:20 UT and 7295 kHz has faded down to poor level, while 7345 remains at fair/good level with about S5 signal strength (not an issue with zero noise floor). Interview in presumed Yakutian. Fading rapidly towards 05:00 UT, possibly due to lowering of MUF tonight. Fade up almost at 05:00 UT. IS and time pips, then dead air. Very good reception. Mentioned that the following program was for listeners over 12 years of age! Right at 04:00 UT, conditions really faded down. Time check for 13:00 UT in Yakutia. Virtually gone by 04:10 UT, so either a major disturbance occured, or the MUF just crashed!. 7345 Yakutsk 100 kW / 300 or 310 deg NVK Radio Sakha, on Jan 6 at 2353 UT - Good to very good reception. Carrier off by 05:02 UT. 7345 Yakutsk 100 kW / 310 deg NVK Radio Sakha, on Jan 15 at 0343 UT - Very good reception, as is the case every local evening. Probably the strongest signal on 41 meters. I noticed on the weekend much more Russian language programming, vs mainly Yakutian programming during the week. Happens to be in Yakut now, with a story by a YL. Dog barking in the background. The first transmission of "Voice of America" in Russian aired February 17, 1947 WASHINGTON - "Said New York" - these words in Russian sounded on the radio February 17, 1947, when the first Russian-language broadcast of "Voice of America". Transfer "Voice of America" was a key element of propaganda against the Soviet Union, which after the Second World War was considered a new threat. The radio station "Voice of America", which appeared during the war as a way to spread American views in the occupied territories, said the Russian-speaking audience that her task - to tell the listeners of the USSR about life in America. Like other departments, the Russian service of "Voice of America" was designed to report "the truth" about the life outside the Soviet Union. The first program consisted of news, music and touching sketches of everyday life. However, the Soviet authorities had a reaction. In April 1947, just two months after the start of broadcasts, the radio began to suppress in an attempt to curb American influence. Critics of the "Voice of America" complained that because of the jamming signals in the USSR and other countries where the US tried to ban the transfer, it was difficult to assess the real effectiveness of the program. Subsequently, however, the program "Voice of America" began to be broadcast on the Internet - the first online message appeared in 1994. Over the next 15 years, the US government responded to the collapse of the USSR changes in the radio - so, for example, appeared on the program of the Balkan languages. By 2008, it was decided to abandon the Russian-language radio broadcast and fully translate Russian service "Voice of America" in the online mode. The decision on the establishment of Radio Day is February 13 due to the fact that in this day first aired "UN Radio" station which was located at the headquarters of the United Nations. The correspondent of "Radio 1" asked several important questions Seva Novogorodtsevu, whose name has become a legend among radiyschikov around the world. The first issue was devoted to the future of radio in the XXI century. What should be the radio in order to successfully compete for people's attention with the World network, television and the press? "Radio - this is not a pot of soup. This is a channel through which some ideas from other people go. And the quality of these ideas and people is crucial for the quality of the radio. For example, in a society where in the air a lot of ideas, leading them to catch - and eloquently, clearly, vividly expressed these thoughts to his audience. Such a radio to listen to interesting. Such intensity of thoughts, passions and mutual interest and is, in my view, on the radio decisive "- said Novgorodtsev in the air," Radio 1 ". What should be the leading contemporary radio? What makes a man a "style icon"? The legendary presenter said "Radio 1" as follows: "What is the danger of leading the work? He is sitting in a studio in front of a microphone and he is allowed to speak, if not all, very much. There is a false sense of power or influence. But at any moment that the facilitator should understand that radio and he - there is only a conductor of ideas to the listener. Therefore, the leading modesty is so important, the ability and desire to work on themselves, positive attitude to the society, the people and the desire to somehow improve the situation - I think this is the future that is at radio. But this approach requires good people, people who are willing to learn and improve. radio employee must constantly expand their horizons, kindly refer to the company and its audience. And if you will reign supreme cynicism, apathy some love to her - then I do not see a future for radio. " Finally, we talked about our listeners. What wants to hear on the radio a modern man? "When I started, there were few radio stations - federal channels and several" enemy voices ". And the audience, in fact, was one. After 1991 began crushing masses of Soviet listeners to different audiences, along with the growing number of new assorted stations - said Seva Novgorodtsev. - Today, the small handful of make up and determine the fate of modern radio. The general audience is no more. We must come to terms with the status quo and try to be fit people. This only advice. " radio1.news (OnAir.ru / http://onair.ru/main/enews/view_msg/NMID__64525/) 73!
