The decision was made following the results of the May meeting of the FCC. Today, about half a million people live in the capital of Chuvashia, and for them the radio station will operate on 98.1 FM. Relax FM has been a source of inner strength, warmth and great music for millions of Russians for nineteen years. The concept is best reflected in the slogan "Turn off stress - turn on relaxation", and more than 8.2 million people do exactly that every month*. The federal network of the radio station is actively expanding today - 23 transmitters already cover over 8.9 thousand settlements of the country with broadcasting, and soon the city of Cheboksary will be included in their number. Relax FM offers a modern active audience an environment free of stress - with a large volume of music and a minimum of conversations. This is a safe space where you can completely disconnect from the outside world, relax and feel happy. The brand as part of GPM Radio is part of Gazprom-Media Holding, whose assets are represented in all major market segments. Avtoradio, ENERGY, Humor FM, Detskoye Radio - popular formats from the GPM Radio line - are already operating in Cheboksary. The next FKK competition took place on May 28. It was the first round-the-clock information radio station in Russia from VGTRK, formed on the basis of the FM version of Mayak. Mayak itself continued broadcasting on 67.22 VHF. Every 15 minutes, Mayak 24 aired short news blocks. Every three hours, the program "Hour of News" was aired with a more complete overview of the day's events. The rest of the time was occupied by analytical and guest programs with an emphasis on economics and business, culture, politics and topics of concern to society. As part of cooperation with the British BBC, Mayak 24 aired programs and live broadcasts from London. And at night there was music and interaction with listeners. Popov was held in the Large Auditorium of the Polytechnic Museum. Those gathered greeted the members of the late A.S. Popov's family, his two nieces, who were present at the meeting. People's Commissar of Posts and Telegraphs Comrade Ivan Smirnov in his speech on the importance of technology and science in the Soviet state said: "The tsarist government thanked A.S. Popov for his invention with 50 rubles. This is understandable. Radio primarily serves to communicate with the masses. The tsarist government, on the contrary, fenced itself off from the masses. We say: Soviet scientific thought is one of the most reliable supports. Radio is the link between scientific thought and the masses. Soviet scientists, working for the benefit of the Soviet state, thereby work for the liberation of all mankind." Svoren. 1963. Your Radio Receiver. The book makes a rather bold attempt to give the reader an idea of many "complex topics" using simple literary and graphic means. In principle, this is undoubtedly the right approach. And although from time to time the author resorts to a very "lightweight" form of presentation, we can consider that his attempt was successful. The book "Your Radio Receiver" is a good example of how you can simply, entertainingly and at the same time quite specifically talk about radio electronics. This book will be useful not only for those who want to get to know their receiver better, but primarily for those who feel the need to get acquainted with the basics of modern radio electronics. (https://vk.com/radioreceiver) * How the USSR advertised new foreign radio equipment. ----------------------------------------------------- Recently, we often hear that the Soviet Union was a closed country and therefore the population of the country did not even imagine how far foreign manufacturers of household radio equipment had gone in development. I hasten to reassure and dissuade: in the USSR they not only followed foreign innovations, but also massively informed Soviet citizens about them. They practically arranged free advertising for foreign companies. Let's read these reviews of foreign equipment. RAEM - my call signs. The famous polar explorer, Hero of the Soviet Union E.T. Krenkel tells in his memoirs about the heroic stages of the Arctic exploration. The author of the book participated in the expeditions of "Sibiryakov" and "Chelyuskin" with O.Yu. Schmidt and V.I. Voronin, drifted on ice floes with "Schmidt's camp" and with the first Soviet station "North Pole", headed by I.D. Papanin, wintered on small polar islands. His meetings with pilots Chkalov, Levanevsky, Vodopyanov, Molokov, with scientists Bonch-Bruevich, Vize, Samoylovich, with brave polar explorers and sailors are interesting. The book is full of colorful details and is permeated with good humor. (https://vk.com/radioreceiver) * 1956. Event marked by special stamp issue and mass presided by Archbishop Charles Scicluna on Friday. A set of commemorative stamps issued for on the radio station's 30th anniversary. Radju Marija Malta officially began broadcasting on May 31, 1995, from modest beginnings − just two small rooms at the Dominican Fathers' Convent in Rabat − as a community radio station known then as Radio 106. A pivotal milestone was reached on May 5, 1998, when Radio 106 joined the World Family of Radio Maria (WFRM), becoming the fifth station worldwide to adopt the name Radju Marija. The formation of the Assoċjazzjoni Radju Marija Malta (ARM) soon followed, leading to steady growth in both outreach and operations. A major turning point came on June 17 that year, when Radju Marija Malta was granted a national broadcasting licence, allowing it to move to 102.3FM and reach listeners across Malta and Gozo. As the station expanded, so did the need for more adequate facilities.
