Exactly 25 years ago, on July 26, 1998, on the Moscow frequency 90.8 FM, a test broadcast of the radio station 
"Govorit Moskva" (Moscow Speaks") (now called "Radio Moskvy") was launched, which also broadcasts on the third 
wired radio button in the capital. The station's operating hours on 90.8 FM were 24/7 from the very beginning. 
Broadcasting was carried out from the Balashikha radio center. At first, the signal coverage of this frequency was very 
small, but in the process of development, the broadcast area gradually expanded.
On November 26, 1999, the radio station stopped broadcasting on this frequency. On February 24, 2000, the Sport 
FM radio station started broadcasting on it.
Radio "Govorit Moskva" returned to the FM band of Moscow on March 29, 2006 at a frequency of 92.0 FM. On the 
last February 1, 2013, the launch of radio "Moscow FM" took place.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to allocate funds to expand the radio broadcasting network in 
the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to Caliber.Az, information about this is posted on the official website of the head of Azerbaijan.
According to the document, in order to expand the broadcasting network in the territory of Azerbaijan for the purchase 
and installation of equipment, as well as to improve the material and technical base of existing broadcasting stations, 
create the necessary infrastructure to support their sustainable operation, from the presidential reserve fund provided 
for in the state budget for 2023, The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport will be allocated 13.7 million

Radio has been dubbed "Africa's medium" and remains popular due to its availability and relatively low cost. Many of 
Africa's 54 countries, with a combined population of more than 1.3 billion people, use "traditional" radios extensively, 
highlighting the digital divide between developed countries and countries lacking reliable electricity and internet.
But there are other reasons for the popularity of radio in Africa. It is closely related to the oral transmission of 
information, which plays a central role in the development of the diverse cultural identities and languages of the 
continent. The close relationship with such a reliable satellite as radio remains unprecedented on the continent, which 
explains why radio listening rates in many African countries are higher than the global average. For example, in a
