Broadcaster Antenne Deutschland has launched Germany's first nationwide artificial intelligence (AI) radio station.

An artificial voice named kAI acts as a radio host, introducing listeners to the pop and dance hits of the past 10
years, as well as informing them about artificial intelligence technology, use cases, advantages and limitations.
Absolut Radio AI can be received through the Absolut Radio app, on all major streaming portals and directly on the
web.
"Absolut Radio AI is an important step for all German radio. The future of radio is now being redefined, opening up
new possibilities and variations in our programming," said Mirko Drenger, CEO of Antenne Deutschland. "And I will
say right away, no one should worry about their work with us. Jobs will not disappear, but will change significantly.
AI will not make us redundant, it will make us more efficient and smarter."
German service provider Radio.Cloud has created an artificial intelligence radio station for Antenne Deutschland.
The broadcaster, a joint venture between Media Broadcast and Absolut, wants to continuously expand the

Summer broadcasts FRS Summer Splash 2023 from FRS-Holland

FRS-Holland, Free Radio Service Holland, an independent, non-commercial Dutch radio station that has been
broadcasting since 1980, announces the FRS Summer Splash series.
"The time has finally come... After a (too) long hiatus, FRS-Holland will be back on the air in July/August. The
combination of circumstances forced us to be inactive for more than 6 months. We regret this inaction, but: with
new energy, we will soon return to the shortwave ether. Good news: all the familiar FRS voices will be with us: Jan,
Mike, Bert, Dave and Peter V.
Important: Our site frsholland.nl will be down for a while as we are moving to a new hosting provider. This means
that we will create a new site starting in July/August.
We will be airing on Sundays for three consecutive weeks with a two hour show.

Scientists have spotted a strange repeating signal from space.

Astronomers are puzzling over the nature of the strange, repeating radio signal that comes from an object 15,000
light-years away from us.
The signal repeats every 22 minutes and lasts about 5 minutes. Surprising is the fact that scientists have been
receiving this radio signal and even recording it for the past 30 years, but they have not paid attention to it. An
unusual space object, called GPM J1839-10, is mentioned in a study published in the scientific journal Nature

According to some researchers, a magnetar, a neutron star with an extremely strong magnetic field, can be the
source of the signal, however, according to modern scientific data, magnetars do not emit radio waves.
