It's a shame, but nothing, you can either order a new one, or charge the battery separately. The sound is pretty good for such a small receiver. Including companies will be prohibited from refusing services to citizens who do not want to provide personal data (if this is not prescribed by law). This also applies to online stores, which often ask customers for personal data, despite the fact that this is not mandatory. "If the buyer does not want to tell the employees of a regular or online store his full name, phone number and bank card, email and home address, they will not be able to refuse a purchase," said State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. - Russian applications on smartphones Smartphones sold in Russia will be pre-installed with the Russian app store from the beginning of autumn. The innovation applies only to devices that run on the Android operating system. Earlier in August, it became known that the Ministry of Digital Transformation proposed temporarily not to prosecute sellers who would sell equipment without domestic software. This is due, among other things, to the fact that, in order to comply with the requirements of the law, many sellers will have to open the packaging of the goods. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a complete list of programs required for pre-installation on smartphones, tablets, computers and Smart TVs on August 25. The document will come into force from January 2023. It is reported in Telegram "Mash on the wave". The incident took place on Tuesday 30 August. It is noted that unknown persons "broke into the air" of the radio station and turned on the anthem of the neighboring state. Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the Crimea on information policy, stated on his Telegram channel that unknown persons had hacked into the Internet broadcasting of Radio Krym. "The problem affected only the Internet segment and transmitters that received a signal from a satellite," he stressed. According to Kryuchkov, the broadcasting of the radio station will be restored in the near future. He also stated that attacks on the Internet sites of the Crimean TV channels and radio stations have been going on for the second week. In June, the Internet air of the Kommersant FM radio station was subjected to a hacker attack. Unidentified people also broadcast the anthem of Ukraine, in addition, pacifist songs were played on the air. lenta.ru (https://onair.ru/main/enews/view_msg/NMID__84008/) * The development of the Russian electronics industry in the coming years will be financed at an unprecedented level, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said Tuesday at a technology session on electronics. ------------------------------------------------- In general, according to him, electronics is the most important direction on the way to achieving the technological sovereignty of the country. "Of course, this means that now we need to more actively develop our own specialized mechanical engineering, the production of technological, auxiliary equipment, components, including through stimulating demand for microelectronic products. We pay special attention to this area," Mishustin said. Gorbachev took office as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU in 1985. Many postal bans have been lifted. Jamming of Western radio stations was also stopped and the air became cleaner. The period of free DX-hobby in the USSR has come. DX bulletins began to appear in the country. (Anatoly Klepov, Moscow, Russia) - In the early years of Perestroika, the jamming of "enemy voices" continued. The expert opinion on the "case of the CPSU" states that by a resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU of September 25, 1986, it was decided to stop jamming the transmissions of some foreign radio stations ("Voice of America", "BBC") and increase the jamming of others ("Freedom" , Deutsche Welle). On May 23, 1987, the Soviet Union finally stopped jamming the radio programs of the Voice of America and some other Western radio stations. Germany ----------------- KYRGYZ REPUBLIC The TWR Asia Center in Kyrgyzstan For the Trans World Radio, medium waves are the best investment and they remain viable to reach target audiences in the remote parts of the world. In addition, medium waves have the ability to travel great distances at night and also to cover rough terrain. That's why the Red River Tx site near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, became a home to two sections of TWR: 1. PANI on 1467 kHz and 2. CAMENA on 1287 kHz. PANI stands for Pakistan, Afghanistan and North India and CAMENA for Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa. In addition to TWR broadcasts, Kyrgyz Radio broadcast on 612 kHz from this transmitter center. The TWR CAMENA started broadcasting their programs in March of 2003 with a power of 150 kW. The station was closed at the end of 2016, because the transmitter, which dated from the time of the USSR, was out of order. CAMENA's Central Asian Broadcasts had been reduced and moved to the PANI transmitter on 1467 kHz. For the frequency 1467 kHz a directional antenna from 4 masts went into operation in 2014 with an output of 500 kW. Then in 2019 the TWR had bought 2 transmitters from Germany at a very good price and reinstalled them on the Red River site. The diplexer made it possible to couple two transmitters to reach 200 kW. With a new directional antenna it became possible to cover some 60 million people dispersed in the vast steppes of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, in the valley of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and in Afghanistan, North West of China, North of India and Africa - to 10 countries. In the last period of time - in 2020-2021 - the TWR was on the air on 612 kHz, 200 kW for the TWR Europe and CAMENA and also on 1467 kHz, 500 kW for the TWR PANI. In 2022 the TWR CAMENA is just on 1467 kHz in different languages. "These are broadcasts for Russian-speaking audiences, the waves travel far, and the programme is broadcast from 20:00 to midnight," Valdas Kaminskas, a spokesperson for the Lithuanian Radio and Television Centre (Telecentras), told BNS. ... Radio Pravda will be broadcast from Sitkunai in central Lithuania. The Sitkunai radio station originally came online in 1950 and then played a major role during the January 1991 events. ... (Steve Whitt, Medium Wave News Editor, York, England; MWC iog, WOR Aug 12) On Friday 5 August at 17.00 UTC, "Radio Pravda" started broadcasting on AM 1557 kHz from Sitkunai in Lithuania. The station, also known as "Nasha Lenta" (Our Band), provides independent information in Russian to Russia and Belarus and is fully funded by private donors. Its programmes are under the supervision of the Dutch Media Commission. Radio Pravda received permission from the Commissariat and its programmes are compiled in the Netherlands before being transmitted to Lithuania for rebroadcasting on AM 1557 kHz. The Lithuanian authorities in turn issued a 'retransmission licence'. There are no political motives and no involvement of any government, not even financial. "The only thing that matters is the free flow of uncensored, verified information to Russia and Belarus." The transmitter used in Lithuania is the Nautel RX50 which was previously used by Big L on AM 1395 kHz from Trintelhaven in the Netherlands, in an attempt to reach a daytime audience in England. Later this transmitter was used on 1008 kHz to broadcast the religious station Groot Nieuws Radio. Since the 1008 kHz was closed down, the transmitter was stored in the Netherlands. The past few weeks a lot of work was done to get the full 50 kilowatts on the air on AM 1557 kHz. This also required a new antenna design. The results are phenomenal. The signal on AM 1557 kHz can be received well at night throughout Europe. There is a strong night signal in cities like Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and Minsk and it also covers the whole territory of the Ukraine. Even on Russia's border with Norway in the Arctic, the signal is still quite good, as well as in Novosibirsk, which is some 1,500 kilometres from the transmitter site. (Rumen Pankov, Sofia, Bulgaria) Romania ------------- On August 20, the broadcast of the Russian service of the IRR was noted at a frequency of 11,940 kHz according to the schedule. At the same time, from 13.00-14.00 (UTC) at the parallel frequency of 13610 kHz, broadcasting was noted, respectively. The broadcast quality on both frequencies was equally confident: the signal is very good with occasional slight atmospheric noise. Third broadcast of the day - an equally strong signal on 11810 kHz from 1500 UTC (along with a DRM broadcast on 9580 kHz) was noted. All of the above speaks of the return of the Russian edition of the IRR to the regular broadcasting mode in accordance with the schedule. As you know, until recently, broadcasting on the above-mentioned frequencies was not carried out due to the lack of repair kits necessary to restore the transmitter's performance in Tsigenesti. Last year, when delivering the kits to the addressee, they managed to lose them, which required tender procedures and subsequent circles of hell. Yurchenkov Alexey Olegovich (rp. This is RFA's 80th QSL design and will be used to confirm all valid RFA reception reports from September - December 2022. Created by Congress in 1994 and incorporated in 1996, RFA broadcasts in Burmese, Cantonese, Khmer, Korean to North Korea, Lao, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, Tibetan (including Uke, Amdo, and Kham dialects), and Uyghur. RFA strives for accuracy, balance, and fairness in our editorial content. As a 'surrogate' broadcaster, RFA provides news and commentary specific to each of our target countries, acting as the free press these countries lack. RFA broadcasts only in local languages and dialects, and most of our broadcasts comprise news of specific local interest. More information about RFA, including our current broadcast frequency schedule, is always available at www.rfa.org. RFA encourages listeners to submit reception reports.
