These are radios, radio receivers, radio and radio tape recorders. They were made in different parts of the Soviet Union - in Belarus, the Baltics, Ukraine, Crimea, as well as in Lening- rad, Moscow, Chelyabinsk and Perm. "I have always liked radios, besides, I am a music lover, I love listening to mu- sic. Retro receivers are very stylish, beautiful and interesting things. It is now fashionable to decorate the interior with them, "says Alexander. The oldest exhibit in his collection is a 1951 Moskvich radio. The most unusual Soviet apparatus is "Romance 105". It is a true music center with radio, turntable, reel to reel tape recorder and speakers. There are also Perm devices, some of which are already a collector's item. Alexander buys retro receivers at Avito, at thrift stores, at a flea market and from friends. Half of the receivers in the collection are in working order, but require restoration and repair. The devices are in good external and working condition, with which practically nothing needs to be done, about ten percent. The collector restores the appearance and mechanics himself. If he encounters difficulties in electronics, he gives it to repairmen. The collector listens to radio on Soviet receivers every day. "Some radios have good sound quality. There is even such a term: warm tube sound. I have several devices on which you can listen to all radio stations in Perm. And late in the evening on short and medium waves you can listen to foreign radio stations, which is also interesting, "says the collector. Alexander keeps all the retro receivers in the apartment, but in the future he is thinking of arranging a special space for them. (PI) * Mystery21 QSL Dear SWL Anatoly, thanks a lot for your nice reception report from Russia! We are really surprised to learn how many people can listen to us all over Europe and from Siberia to the East Coast oft he United States. Inspite of the World Wide Web people still enjoy listening on shortwave, and like us they are fascinated by the myth of wave propagation. That explains the name of our station "Mystery21". We have been on air for many years, but we are newcomers on shortwave. We chose the 60m band because oft the variety of propagation conditions: short distance in Europe during the day and DX after sunset. Our equipment is completely homemade and we are testing with 1,2 KW PEP from 8 relatively cheap mosfets and a simple inverted V dipole antenna installed at 25 meters above the soil. We use sound processing with an optimod pc card and with stereo tool. Our bandwidth is a little bit higher than with most commercial stations. We apologize for not having any printed QSL cards at the moment. Considering the high number of reception reports we are thinking about E-QSL. You will find further information and pictures on our facebook site. There you will also find our webstream during the transmissions. If you like, you can join our facebook group. Mystery21 - The Spirit of Music Stay tuned and enjoy listening on shortwave, especially on the 60m band. We are looking forward to hearing from you again. Yours, Mystery21 Team - E-mail: mysteryradio21 @ gmail.com (AK) * SWL RADIO BROADCAST --------------------------------------- Position 1. What is "SWL Radio Broadcast"? Philip Kirkorov, Nikolay Baskov, Alexander Buinov, Denis Maidanov, Anita Tsoi, Diana Gurtskaya, Natalia Moskvina were included in the "sanctions list" of the radio station, according to the website of "Best Radio". Also on the list are Belarusian artists Ruslan Alekhno, Alexander Solodukha, Irina Dorofeeva, Alena Lanskaya, Vladimir Gromov, Anatoly Yarmolenko, Janet, the Aura and Belarusians groups and the Gruzdev sisters. "From this moment on we exclude the songs of these sycophants from our air. This is the minimum that we can do for the freedom-loving people of Belarus. We call on our colleagues from the First Radio and other radio stations playing Russian-language music to join the boycott, "the address of the Best Radio says. Last week, after the release of the video "Beloved one is not given away" with the participation of famous Russian and Belarusian performers, negative comments about Baskov began to appear on social networks, in particular, on Instagram, where 2.7 million people are subscribed to the singer. Kirkorov, on the other hand, was outraged by Baskov's attempt to justify himself for "supporting Lukashenka," a post about which was spread on social networks. "I just wanted to write to you," haven't you gone crazy, my dear friend, to throw beads and make excuses? " - he was indignant. The initiative also proposes to establish standard wording for audiences to indicate opaque content. According to A. Pai, these measures will help the American audience understand when they listen to or watch the propaganda of a foreign government. "It's time to update our rules and shed some light on this practice. I hope that my colleagues will quickly approve this proposal and we can help the American public know when they see or hear foreign government propaganda, "said A. Pye. The commission's rules will apply to cases where a foreign government agency directly or indirectly paid radio or television stations for the distribution of materials, as well as if the program was provided to the station free of charge for its further broadcast.
