Radio lessons of the Russian language launched in Mongolia.
Weekly Russian language lessons began on the Mongolian national public radio, the Rossotrudnichestvo website
reports. The project will open up new opportunities for improving Russian language proficiency for the youth of the
country. Teachers and students of the Ural Federal University were involved in the development of a thematic plan
and scientific and methodological support. The best Mongolian Russian scholars, leading specialists of the Mongolian
University of Education (MGUO), MontAPRYAL, as well as the educational department of Mongolia worked on the
project. Ten-minute classes with the participation of the head of the Russian language department and the teaching
methods of Moscow State University, Doctor of Philology Shirnen Tsolmon and students of UrFU received a great
positive response from students in Mongolia. Until the end of 2020, more than forty classes are planned. The plan of
the radio lessons was compiled by the teacher of UrFU Olga Mikhailova so that the lessons reflected a wide range of
relevant topics. Radio lessons help a wide circle of Mongolian listeners expand their vocabulary, learn the cultural
features of the life of Russians and, in general, become interested in learning the Russian language, which
contributes to its further advancement in Mongolia.
