Not only the corporate style of the radio station was updated, but also the information and musical concept of its broadcast. New corporate identity is a graphic reflection of the station's new content. Modern fonts and "tricolor" elements help the renewed radio station to more clearly formulate its mission to the external environment. The updated radio station is for the whole country, for everyone who is young, full of energy, ready for shock work and rest. "We are talking about the unity of Siberia, about the unity of our country, we think the same way as our listeners, we love the same music, we are always together, therefore we select only what our listeners like. And we know and highlight the main news in the stream of information ", - commented the general producer of "Radio Siberia" Igor Azovsky. The updated Radio Siberia should become one of the main Siberian brands in the country and in the whole world; an integral part of the region "Siberia" as an international brand. MKR-MEDIA Media Holding is one of the leading Russian media holdings managing significant multimedia assets. Established in 2014 by the Interstate Development Corporation. The main priority of MKR-MEDIA is the development of international cooperation with partners and reputable media. Currently, more than 500 highly professional specialists work in the media holding. Today, MKR-MEDIA is in partnership with more than 20 international organizations. (http://onair.ru/main/enews/view_msg/NMID__71366/) Ryazanskaya oblast. Stavropol. ------------------------------------------------- The founder and ideological creator of the radio station Dmitry Savitsky together with the general director of the branch in Stavropol Elizaveta Prokopishina announced the start of broadcasting. "Serebryanyy dozhd" has been broadcasting since 1995 and has positioned itself as a "smart radio" with its own view of what is happening in the country and the world. In Stavropol, the radio station can be heard on the wave of 96.2. Now Stavropol topics will be discussed on the air for two hours daily from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. In addition, regional news releases are planned several times a day. The general director of the radio station in Stavropol Prokopshin hinted that listeners are waiting for a unique project for the region, the likes of which are not in other regions. At the meeting there was a question about measuring the audience of the radio. To this, Savitsky replied that the radio station now has its own development, which allows real-time evaluation of the transmission rating and the number of listeners on different platforms. Thus, all the necessary information comes to the director in the form of e-mails with graphs. For example, the rating of one of the new programs "Potapenko will be" is now estimated. pobeda26.ru (http://onair.ru/main/enews/view_msg/NMID__71306/) Tverskaya oblast. One of our HF transmitters, though orders for power (to be frank, and for work time) are now reduced to 300 kW. We work at 11530, 9950, 7505, and some other frequencies in the specified range on different azimuth directions. " About antenna: Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BYHmklHi_A Around 1976-1978 was commissioned. A lot of trouble was with the remote control of the exact installation for a given azimuth (distance of about 2 km). I will add that the same, only for the permissible power of two times less - 500 kW - was built by our own experts in Bulgaria, the Podarko Regional Center; It worked PKV500 transmitter. Slightly different from our some elements of design. In 2012, the antenna in Daradsko was dismantled, alas. This is probably the last one on the territory of the former USSR. Even under Noginsky did not see anything like it. In the USSR, there was one - at 1000 kW, and in Bulgaria, almost an analogue - but at 500 kW. So the antenna is industrial, for an industrial transmitter ... it is not so great, its height is about 80m. Our favorite) ... suffered the icing of 2000, practically without damage. Respect to designers! ps / private antenna in d = 8m? cool! Do you know of any other sources of maps that show all the stations on each frequency? The NRC pattern book is great, but I'm looking for something digital, for the classes I'm teaching. Any thoughts are welcome! Cheers! (Mark Durenberger, MN, Nov 9, nrc-am gg via DXLD) The fault is with Google, which changed its policies a month or so and increased the fees it charges websites for using Google Maps as part of their offerings. This has affected a lot of radio-related sites that use maps, including FCCdata.org. I think it's because the Google API that sites like this one used, which used to be free, is now being charged for, and if you don't pay the fee, you get that error. Either that, or the Google API that's being used is being deprecated. I don't know of any other places that show pattern maps though; sorry! There was one other site I used for grayline maps, but that one had to switch to another mapping software (which was inferior, sad to say) for the same reason I think. For grayline maps, I ended up using the radio maps here: https://www.dxmaps.com/spots/mapg.php I also found another API that is still free. Don't know anything about it, but I have seen talk of people switching to that who don't want to pay the extortio-- I mean, fee, to Google: https://leafletjs.com/ Best regards, (Mark Pettifor, Goshen, IN, ibid.) UVB-76 (11.9% abv) takes its name from a mysterious shortwave radio station that broadcasts a repeating buzz tone that is occasionally interrupted by a voice in Russian that includes many names in its messages. The series debuted last year with four beers released as part of Wellington's 2017 DecemBEER promotion. For 2018, two of last year's versions - Roman (straight bourbon barrel-aged) and Mikhail (Mexican hot chocolate style with cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, and spicy chillies) - will be returning, and will be joined by two new variants - Nikita (Neapolitan style with vanilla beans and strawberry) and Alexei (coffee). The beers can be pre-ordered now via Wellington's online store, and will be released at the brewery on Saturday November 24th with a launch event that will feature eight further versions available exclusively on draught. For more details, see the full event announcement. Russia. Chelyabinsk declared war on street radio. Social activists complained to the mayor's office about a too loud sound, coming from the speakers, which are installed in the city center. The discontent of the townspeople was caused primarily by audio advertising. "It's almost impossible not to listen to street audio advertising, importing trash of information into the ears. This is not a TV or the Internet - a person cannot turn it off, "complained member of the Public Chamber Andrei Minchenko. In mid-September, the Internet project Chelyabinsk Urbanist organized an action # audio advertising, urging citizens to record videos with complaints of loud advertising on street radio. On one of these videos, the girl said that the noise from the speakers prevents mothers with children from walking. "This is just violence, moral pressure. My girlfriends with children can not walk with strollers, because the children from this noise wake up. And it's all in the best places of the city. Where do we go for a walk then? ", A resident of Chelyabinsk is interested. Complaints about the so-called "street radio" appeared long ago. A year ago, students from one of the universities, near which speakers were installed, asked to turn off the radio, explaining that annoying music and advertising interfere with the learning process. Also, there is street radio on Kirov Street, Revolution Square, in the public garden on the Alom Field, in the Pushkin City Garden and Gagarin Park. Particularly affected by the noise from the speakers are residents of nearby houses, writes the local press. The city authorities have promised to resolve the issue with street radio. Russia. Radio with bard songs will appear in Russia. The station will be called "Kalina Krasnaya" and at first it will be heard only in a few cities, Roman Yemelyanov, general director of the European Media Group, told Vedomosti. "We are launching a new format as part of an experiment; there is still no radio with such content in Russia. If the format shows good results, we will continue to develop it in other cities, "said Yemelyanov. Pilot cities where it will be possible to hear "Kalina Krasnaya" will be Tolyatti, Stavropol and Ryazan. The air will feature original songs by such artists as Vladimir Vysotsky, Bulat Okudzhava, Oleg Mityaev and others, as well as music from Soviet cinema. I was very glad to receive a letter from you with a question! This year 2018, on March 22, Radio Center received permission for daily and round-the-clock broadcasting from Riga (Latvia) in Russian. At present, trial transmissions are being conducted on the old and legendary broadcasting frequency of our AM 1485 kHz station in order to determine the antenna tuning and radio signal passing towards Moscow and St. Petersburg. The last test program was held on October 24th. Next week it will be clear about the new tests. In the future, for the implementation of regular round-the-clock broadcasting, we will use the frequency AM 1602 kHz. After that, due to various kinds of restrictions in Russia, we will completely stop our broadcasting in Moscow, leaving only one broadcasting studio behind us. You can also listen to us on the Internet. If you have any questions, I will try to answer them quickly. I apologize if there will be delays due to high employment. Why listen to shortwave via the Internet ? Many reasons, maybe you don't own a shortwave radio and still want to tune around the bands. You can also tune in to signals that are in a specific target area but the choice of time and frequency makes it impossible to tune in at your home location. Your noise level is too high, and you want to hear a signal that you think might be audible in your general vicinity. With online receivers you can compare reception of the same signal at different areas and maybe even help pin-point the location of an unknown transmission? Are there many online receivers available? There are hundreds of online radios you can tune and the number is growing almost daily. The radios are often made available by fellow radio fans or amateur radio operators, or possibly a radio club, or radio group that just wants to have you listen in from their location.Where can I find these radios? Are they free to use? For the most part all access to listen is free and open to anyone that has an internet access. Here's a selection of some of the best locations of online receivers on the web. 1) http://www.sdr.hu This is the best resource for anyone that is looking to tune into the shortwave bands with a increasing number of receivers from almost anywhere around the world. They use Kiwi SDR receivers that means they allow up to 4 simultaneo us connections at the same time, each tuning different frequencies in all modes AM USB LSB FM, some are wideband some limited to longware mediumwave and shortwave 2) http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/ This one is set up at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, it is run by the ETDG Amateur radio club in collaboration with the Faculty for electrical engineering, Mathematics and Computer science Faculty. It can be tuned by hundreds of users at the same time, it is very sensitive and has very low noise, it is always amazing to tune around with this receiver 3) https://www.globaltuners.com/ This one is different. Most of the receivers are actual radios that are controlled by computers and online. They operate on the principle of 1 listener at a time and if someone is already tuning it you need to ask permission in order to tune the radio. It requires a free registration to use the online receivers. 4) http://www.websdr.org/ This is another great list of receivers, but most of them do not cover shortwave, many cover only amateur radio bands, some only local VHF UHF frequencies. Have fun tuning around the online radios! Deputies of the European Parliament voted in plenary session for the adoption of a new European code of electronic communication. This directive provides that all new car receivers installed in vehicles in EU countries should be able to receive digital terrestrial broadcasting programs. This requirement does not limit the desires of manufacturers to include in these receivers the possibility of receiving FM and AM stations. The Code also gives EU member states a certain freedom regarding the choice of measures that should guarantee that radio receivers can receive digital radio programs. After approval of the directive by the European Parliament, it must go through several more stages. First, it must receive formal approval in the Council of Europe, and then - be published in the Official Journal of the European Union - after which it comes into force. These stages should be completed before the beginning of 2019, after that - the indicated norms will have to become part of the national legislation of the EU camp, and all new car receivers purchased or rented in the COP countries will have to comply with the requirements of the Directive. The code should guarantee motorists the ability to receive digital radio stations - broadcasting in DAB / DAB + standards - no matter which EU country they buy a new car from. Thus, millions of drivers throughout the European Union will receive a wider choice of radio programs and higher sound quality. In Europe, the process of switching off analog FM broadcasting has already begun: Norway (disconnected the analogue in 2017) and Switzerland (which will do it from 2020 to 2024) were the first countries to decide on such a step, similar plans are being discussed in a number of EU countries. Thus, this directive should guarantee motorists traveling on the roads of countries where there is no FM radio, access to traffic information from a digital radio broadcast. A significant additional advantage of digital radio is that DAB + broadcasting remains a reliable source of information during emergency situations, regardless of the number of listeners trying to access information through their receivers. The directive also formalizes the EU's consent to the introduction of rules by member states, which would guarantee the possibility of receiving digital programs on household radios. In particular, in Italy there is already a legal provision requiring that all new radios sold in the country from January 1, 2020 can receive digital radio programs. In France, the adoption of a similar law is expected after the programs in the DAB + standard will be available to more than 20% of the country's population, which should happen before the end of this year. In a number of other EU countries, similar initiatives are being considered that should help the development of digital radio and, due to economies of scale, will lead to lower prices for DAB home radios.
